Reference Letter

I asked for a reference letter from Peter (Sydney) for a UK client. Peter did so and writes....

" it's already done, and he appeared to be entirely happy,
saying basically that what I said was in line with what they had

She's in a job I'd love to hold - and so out of touch with Geek lingo. Which gave me a chance to brag !

Welcome to Geek lingo ! Blog is a personal weblog. You can think of it as a online diary . Any geek worth his salt and can write a bit needs to have one or die of shame :o)

Basically Blogs offer a peek into someone's private life and probably that's why they're so popular.

Appeasement
Client says "Don't fix any of these if they're just to appease me & will need redoing on build with new graphics etc. I'm sure you've got better things to do! Focus on core functionality etc. But your call."

I'm not much of an 'appeaser'. The easiest way I can 'appease' you is to give you one hell of a product !

All I'm trying to do right now is to create a skeleton which can be covered up once the actual assets arrive. This is the hard part, and once we're done with this, it is just a matter of sliding stuff into place.

In some cases you've rearranged the bones , in some cases you've pointed out design mistakes, in some you've wanted to try out new stuff ( Parachute and a cheer ) and in some you've been plain ' picky'.

I'm working only on the areas where the shape of the skeleton becomes clearer. That's why I'm not fixing comments like "The current sfx getting you from the Handwriting Lessons screen back to the menu is a bit fierce or loud (or both)" .

I promise not to try to appease, assuage, placate, palliate, conciliate, lenify, mollify, or pacify you. I won't let even you stand between us and a good product :o)
